Faiza is an undergraduate student in the School Of Arts and Science studying Genetics. She is currently assisting Postdoc, Dr. Aysegul Gungor Aydin, on the project "Functional Validation Auditory Cortical Locations For Downstream Molecular Applications" where she studied a new protocol of functional de-alienation of the auditory cortex for a better understanding of A1-specific genes critical for auditory memory and behavior. Following graduation, she plans on continuing her love for the sciences by pursuing a career in medicine and becoming a physician.
