Elias graduated from Rutgers University in 2014 with a bachelor’s in Cell Biology and Neuroscience before going on to complete a master’s in biomedical science at the Icahn School of Medicine. He completed a Master’s thesis on sphingolipid modulation through modified RNA gene therapy as a means of reducing cardiovascular remodeling following MI in the Lior Zangi lab. With an extensive background in molecular biology, he now works in the CLEF lab, taking on a supporting role, and assisting with various levels of research and lab management.
